Thomas Meckel makes music performances, workshops, sound designs and concert curations. He builds cinematic games for collective improvisation (Solaris) and organizes cybernetic jam sessions for large groups (Se Cure). This has led to performances at Ringlokschuppen in Mülheim Ruhr, the Museum Ludwigs Filmforum in Cologne and the Conservatorio de Música of the Universidad Nacional in Bogotá. Together with Tobias Thomas he curates the concert series Round at the Kölner Philharmonie. Thomas Meckel studied media art at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne, cultural studies in Lüneburg and Applied Theater Studies in Gießen.
